I run 1600x1200 so I understand your view. All I am saying is we should do
something with the right side. Maybe the page itself just needs more so
you are not so drawn to the long sentence. Anyway just my thoughts on it.

I don't see any space not used up on that page.

I like the 100% columns too, more than I like unused white space. I run a smaller monitor. I also like to test pages by minimizing them to see how well things scrunch. This faq set passes that test well. This content will also likely be squished into the OOo format, so its width will shrink some when it is uploaded.

It is interesting to consider this stuff from a larger view... I guess I haven't
done that before. :)

Now this page, the problem is there is no description on the sub-pages, so I
didn't have anything to put in the right column. I believe the fix for this
would be to go into the page and add a short description.

I will try to go in and neaten/add descriptions soon. :) I've been slow and I can tell that today I will be even slower... Anyway, I will do this if no one beats me to it, but I will likely be a few days.

Of course, even having the descriptions, is up for discussion as far as I am concerned.

For the first draft, I wanted to match what we currently have in Doc-Faqs that Dianne, Gerry, and myself have been working on. The format can be changed though.

I say go for it on uploading this set when you feel ready... I'm willing to update the faq index page to include it, point to it, and better tie things together to support this alternative method of contributing to the faqs. Once I see where you will upload the new set, it will help when thinking about how to setup the index page. I was thinking of making the xferred faq set its own sub-directory of the existing faqs, then listing it in the list at the faq index page if uploaded at the doc project, maybe named collaboration here too (as I suggested for uploading to the user-faq project). But I'm sure you have ideas too, and I'm just happy to know what we have to work with once you've uploaded them, then do my best to help out from there... I'm letting go of any ties I've had to a game plan, just to help do whatever it is that needs to be done. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, once they are uploaded, I'm willing to pitch in to help files bring folks to them, if that will help.

:)

Thank you for your work, Scott!

Diane
