Yeah, I guess I can see how extra commas can be greatly confusing in this OOo world. I will likely no longer use commas in bulleted lists, as I could not find reference to this style in my English (only) references, and I am interested in excelling my writing skills for use in my professional life. I'm not fond of no punctuation in bulleted lists, as it looks very unfinished to me. I may reduce my usage of bulleted lists in some places to better serve my own preferences.

Looks like editing of punctuation in bulleted lists is simply a no-no at OOo:
damned if you do, and damned if you don't.
