Too bad it was all true.

Do what you have to do. I am disturbed by how you and OOoauthors operate
and particularly disturbed when promises are broken.

I am aware of no broken promises. We promised to put our published material on the Docs site, and I have done that. We have published (by my count, which may be off) 42 chapters for OOoV1 and 46 chapters for OOoV2 (including 2 full volumes of the set), all of which are on the Docs site.

We are continuing work on many more chapters. Are you suggesting that the fact we're still working on the user guide constitutes a "broken promise" to produce one? That's an absurd distortion of the real situation.

High quality user documentation, with proper reviews and editing, takes time. Anyone can throw together a relatively short, badly written, badly edited book; we are doing a lot more than that.
