Hi! My name is Tara Hess and I would very much like to help with the documentation project. I have an MA in history and an MLS with an emphasis in Information Architecture. I have many years of experience in supporting users of varying skill levels and developing detailed instructions for doing routine computer tasks.
I think OpenOffice is great and I'd like to see it gain more market share in the office suite sector. I work for a non-profit currently and know that we would benefit greatly from such a product. Many users still feel skeptical about a free product, but I think that good documentation can help mitigate many of those fears. Thanks for your consideration!
