You are right, there are no specifics about the Basic IDE in the Basic
Guide. There is some documentation about it in the Developer's Guide
though, in this section:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/DevGuide/Basic/OpenOffice.org_Basic_IDE

Maybe a link from the Basic Guide to this chapter in the Dev Guide would
help?

Hmmm you're right.. that alphabetizing is... not really alphabetizing is
it... there are pages starting with J in D, pages starting with D in M
and so on. A category should be alphabetical based on the first letter
in the page name and so on. I am not sure what's up with this... I will
look into it... I have asked the MediaWiki User list on this one. I'll
pass on any info I find out.

The red link on any category just means that someone has not yet added a
description to that category. In this case, the PDL License category
probably should have something like the contents of the actual PDL
license, or better yet, a short description of the category and a link
to the PDL License Wiki page.
