It hangs in Opera 9.64 also, on my main Ubuntu machine. Haven't tried the Eee yet. My technical advisor says Opera and FF use some of the same "helper" apps, so perhaps it's something to do with some extension I've added or recently upgraded? The extensions aren't identical on my various FF installs, so that's another thing to check... when I have time.
Another oddity: I don't see any advertising on FaceBook in Firefox on Ubuntu but the ads are there on WinXP. I'm wondering if this is related in some weird, gremlins-in-the-system kind of way. Not that I mind not having ads!
