It is hard to respond to the value of the different allocator changes and
their impact since I'm not sure where the patch is. Can you guys post the
patch/Jira numbers and give a more detailed overview of their status? I
understand DRILL-3940 encapsulates one of these changes. I just added some
comments there as it seems like maybe it is a change based on DRILL 0.9 and
doesn't consider some of the changes of DRILL 1.0.
