Hi folks, To enable GitHub Actions to require approval only the first time, there was a prior discussion here: https://lists.apache.org/thread/nwkllr7o51mmv6223hbhhlkfr3204gob.
According to the new ASF policy <https://infra.apache.org/github-actions-policy.html>, we'll need formal consensus: - > > A link to a mailing list discussion showing a consensus vote by the > PMC noting, that they affirm that they will actively monitor their > workflows for abuse, and that they will act accordingly if and when abuse > is detected. Failure to carry out such monitoring and addressing of abuse > may result in the workflow settings being switched back to "always require > approval for external contributors". This will encourage folks to continue contributing to the druid-operator, so that committers don't have to actively approve each workflow run -- for example: - https://github.com/apache/druid-operator/pull/24 - https://github.com/apache/druid-operator/pull/16 This means we commit to actively monitor the workflows for abuse and act accordingly, which I believe is feasible for us given we have followed a similar model with the apache/druid repository as well. Please reply: [+1] Yes [0] Abstain [-1] No Thanks, Abhishek
