HI,

Votes should stay open for a minimum of 72 hours, votes pass when you get 3 +1
votes from PMC members (and there’s more +1 votes than -1 votes).

You don’t have to fix every tiny issue and start again, the release just needs
to follow policy and be better than the last one. A lot of minor issues are fix
in the next release sort of things.

You should close an existing vote before starting a new one.

The PMC can help here, just ask them on the mailing list, if you are unsure
about anything. Perhaps for your first release it would be better for someone
who has been a release manager before to run it?

Thanks,
Justin
