Hi gang,

LF5 seems to be on its way out. Is anyone using it together with logkit? I suggest we follow suit with what log4j is doing and stop supporting it. Objections?

None from me.

cheers,

I think I saw in the Log4J list that LF5 has been dropped in the current head, since ChainSaw is a much more powerful alternative.

Could someone with better insight knowledge, double-check and then advice on how to proceed with this Gump build failure;

1. Use an older version of Log4J.
2. Fix excalibur-logkit to not include the LogTarget.
3. Some other way
