Pallavi Rao commented on FALCON-1313:
-------------------------------------
[~peeyushb], there are 2 ways a user could get notified now:
1. Using Oozie email action itself. Oozie also supports other notification
mechanisms (there is even a plan to callback action).
2. Falcon has JMS notifications that users use and act on.
Regarding, first option, currently, the post processing may fail after user
action has succeeded causing the whole workflow to fail. We need to revisit
this and see if we can succeed the workflow even if post processing fails.
What additional advantage do you think users will get by using Falcon email
notification as opposed to using oozie email action?
