I am still not able to appreciate the use case.
In production systems like Inmobi we run thousands of job daily, getting email
notifications for success of each of them will be overwhelming and pointless as
users don't need to take any action. Users should be notified only when some
action needs to be taken. For such scenarios we already have FALCON-1090.
For occasional use case where sending an email might be useful, users can add
this functionality to the workflow as pointed by [~pallavi.rao] There is a
subtle philosophical advantage of keeping it in workflow instead of inside
Falcon. If the users specify email action in the workflow then they are aware
that this is oozie's responsibility and they need to configure oozie properly.
If Falcon accepts email configuration then it will be Falcon's responsibility.
As for success notifications through JMS, Falcon already receives them and uses
them for various scenarios.
