Pallavi Rao commented on FALCON-2141: ------------------------------------- The only problem with cutting a 0.x branch later is that, back porting of patches (from trunk) will be an effort in itself. If we do it now, it is an easier merge (the script handles it). I look at new Falcon shell (just like a new UI we did) and removal of post-processing (backward compatible) as just new features and not necessarily 1.0 features. Having said that, will leave it to your discretion as a release manager. If you are confident of a 1.0 release in the near future, it might be ok. If not, I'm assuming you will help with the back-porting of patches, if and when required. > Bump up pom to 1.0 > ------------------ > > Key: FALCON-2141 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-2141 > Project: Falcon > Issue Type: Task > Reporter: Ajay Yadava > Assignee: Ajay Yadava > Fix For: 1.0 > > > As discussed in an earlier dev-sync up, we will do development for 1.0 in > master.
