Andrei Pozolotin commented on FELIX-2993:
-----------------------------------------
ok, makes sense.
yet since security is "core", why not carry org.osgi.service.permissionadmin &
org.osgi.service.condpermadmin interfaces in the framework?
(footprint is probably small and makes life easy and modular for embedders :-)
for example, as an embedder, I have similar conundrum with event admin, which
both carries and exports osgi event interfaces;
and I see my choice as either to carry event admin in the framework host (and
give up ability to make events optional)
or carry it as an optional bundle, (and give up the ability for the framework
host to use events);
am I missing some obvious "modularity solution"?
