Richard S. Hall commented on FELIX-2993:
----------------------------------------
It just sounds like more work to maintain all of these little artifacts for
little benefit. You can just use bnd or maven-bundle-plugin, as we already do,
to depend on the compendium JAR and slice up and pull into your own project
whichever API packages you need. Pretty much all the Felix bundles (e.g., Event
Admin, etc.) do exactly that.
With bnd, it is all about slicing and dicing what is on your project class path
to creating a resulting JAR file. I think you need to quit thinking in terms of
JAR files and just start thinking in terms of which packages do you want in
your JAR file.
