Personally I like codec better as well and in the context of the Converter is
makes perfect sense. However, on the OSGi level the Serializer will be a
separate specification. That will most likely be called 'Serializer Service
Specification'. Calling it 'Codec Service Specification' seems to hint at it
being more aimed at media formats which is not the case. But better names are
always welcome :)
