Hi Felix community and especially PMC, in Aries PMC we recently discussed about only few people being currently active. As apache board was concerned if we can still provide backing for the project we did a roll call. Result was that we have a few people still monitoring the project and helping out when needed to get releases out but we got no one reporting that they are fully active on the PMC.
So we discussed what to do and came to the conclusion that it would be good to join forces with Apache Felix project. As Aries is smaller in active members we propose to move repositories and active people over to Apache Felix. Would Felix PMC be interested in this merger? I first would like to get feedback if there is general interest. If yes we can discuss modalities. Best regards Christian
