Closing: experiment done, result recorded on #552. The framework and OSGi Core R8 TCK pass on JDK 26 and 27 as well as 17/21/23/25, so there is no regression above the 25 that branch targets. Not merging the matrix change itself — 26 and 27 belong in the matrix once the branch lands, not from an experiment branch. The `.github/workflows/**` path addition here was only to make the experiment run at all; a workflow change currently matches none of the trigger path filters, so CI cannot verify its own configuration.
