Hi,
Actually, we only have the issue when we set “Number of days a loan may be
overdue before moving into arrears” on 3 at the product loan.
It doesn’t wave the charges from the first 3 days after the payment date, and
it should according to documentation.
Is there something we are missing on the loan configuration?

Thank you.
Adriana

Thank you Santosh.
I tested this approach and it works when applying the charges from the job.
Really thank you. I’ll let you know how it continues working…

Adriana

Hi Adriana,

It requires one more configuration "Penalty wait period"
(Admin>System>Configuratons) to be set as 2 in order to take the effect. If it
is zero, then the result will be as you seen.

Hello Community.
According to the documentation, when you set the field: “Number of days a loan
may be overdue before moving into arrears” on 2, it’s supposed to give 2 says
of grace in arrears.
We’ve doing some tests and it doesn’t work this way. Actually, it doesn’t work.
Every payment date is on 14 of each month, then the overdue charges should
apply from day 16, but it’s ignoring this grace period and applying charges
normally.
Have you ever had this inconvenient reported by someone else? I was looking for
it at Jira and Fineract Community, but I wasn’t able to find some issue about
it.

Furthermore, when we apply overdue charges using the Job defined at the system,
we noticed they are applied by two days before the current day. For example, if
we apply them on August 21, the Job runs until August 19. This is a behavior
we’ve checked out even if we use tolerance in arrears or not. Maybe tolerance
and jobs are independent, but we tried to figure out any relation, but it
wasn’t found.

We’d be really thankful if you provide us some guide or workaround related with
this topic.
Thanks in advance,
Adriana
