Devs / Community - In late 2019 we ran a survey of the Community. (see below) I believe this was helpful to highlight the challenges and progress we had made until then. I would like to NOW *repeat that survey* with additional questions. If you have additional specific questions you think would be useful, please respond to this thread.
Provisional SCHEDULE for survey: Aug 5th: Announce effort (THIS EMAIL). Aug 10th: Finalize Survey with new questions. Aug 12th: Send out Survey Aug 20th: Collate Data Aug 25th: Publish to Site I'm assuming Victor will run the confidence interval calculations. ;) Thanks - JDAILEY ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: James Dailey <[email protected]> Date: Sat, Nov 23, 2019 at 4:13 PM Subject: Fineract Community Survey Results Nov2019 To: Dev <[email protected]> Survey results are posted here==> https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FINERACT/Survey+Results+of+November+2019 We received 40 responses out of a community of 342 listserv subscribers, so ~12% response rate. There are several ways in which these results can be read, and I would encourage us to not read too much into them. but... If we assume that these are representative of the community i.e. without significant bias, then I think it generally shows a project trying to encourage contributions with some challenges. I think the feedback is that the project approachability can be improved in a number of places and ways. Onward!
