Hi everyone, My name is Aira Jena, and I’m a Computer Science student from India. I’ve been actively contributing to Apache Fineract, Fineract-site, Fineract-Chat-Archive over the past few weeks and am preparing to apply for GSoC 2026.
My primary focus is Java backend development. I’ve been working on areas around documentation tooling, build scripts, and feature enhancements, and I’m currently exploring architectural aspects of Fineract to deepen my understanding of the system. I’m particularly interested in contributing to backend and improvements and would appreciate any guidance on areas where contributions are needed.
