Hi everyone! My name is Edward, and I’m a masters student at the University of Colorado Boulder that is interested in the GSoC program this summer. My main competencies include Java/Spring, SQL databases, testing, and cloud infrastructure. I also have finance and accounting experience from my undergrad business studies, which has been helpful in understanding Fineract's domain.
Over the past few weeks, I've been familiarizing myself with the codebase and I’ve been learning a lot! Specifically, I've been diving into the asynchronous batching architecture in the COB module, financial concepts like loan components and progressive loans, and platform features like maker-checker and EclipseLink.
