if fineract continues to avoid AI to boost productivity and speed in developing new features, refactoring, debugging, etc, as per Apache's guidelines, I unfortunately see a bad end for the project. someone in Colombia is emerging with a 'clone' of fineract, ported in 'clean-room' and running fast (out of java). many more could and will follow. i support fineract project in many side ways, and avoid interacting directly in the main repo especially because of the lack of a buy-in to the inevitable.
