Shreyaank,

"Create standing instruction on disbursement" means, after you disburse the
loan, system will automatically creates a loan repayment instructions from the
linked saving account and it does not mean system will automatically disburse
the loan.

the better label would have been "Create loan repayment instruction on
disbursement"

>>> Yes am referring to loan repayment from the linked savings and not
>>> disbursing a loan. I need the loan repayments to be done automatically from
>>> the linked savings on due date, isn’t this what is supposed to happen?

I hope you understood that there is nothing funny here :):)

>>> Nothing is executed even though the job shows to have run successfully, I
>>> still find it funny :)

Kindly look at this with a more positive attitude and advise accordingly.

Regards;

Zayyad,

I think you have misunderstood the functionality,

"Create standing instruction on disbursement" means, after you disburse the
loan, system will automatically creates a loan repayment instructions from the
linked saving account and it does not mean system will automatically disburse
the loan.

the better label would have been "Create loan repayment instruction on
disbursement"

>> Funny enough from the scheduler jobs, its showing the job “Execute
Standing Instruction” to have run successfully.

I hope you understood that there is nothing funny here :):)
