I don't know. Are you running the tests in the Release4.9 branch against
the code in Release4.9 or running tests from the develop branch?
I run the tests against the develop branch.
I'm pretty sure all tests passed before we shipped 4.9.0.
No, remember, I posted on the fact some tests still failed before the 4.9
release (nothing relative to LangPacks/Japanese/tests though).
There may not be any japanese characters in OpenSans. We added a chinese
font for mobile testing (Assets/Fonts/Droid/DroidSansFallback.ttf). It is
only in the develop branch right now.
Well, so, what should I do with my LangPacks/Japanese/tests and the OpenSans
?

I'm pretty sure all tests passed before we shipped 4.9.0. In theory, the
only change is the locale setting in flex-config.

Btw, could it be a batik problem ? (which would be funny as batik is a

I supposed it came from the OpenSans font, I then did a simple test
removing
this font and the text is render, so, what is the good strategy in that
case, do we have to use an other font ?

My run failed. I guess I didn't have the power plug in. I will try again
tonight.

Hi,
Just to keep you informed, I just started to debug the
LangPacks/Japanese/tests, the japanese resource bundles are well loaded
but
not displayed, I still have to understand why it happens and why that's
only
for japanese.

Are you sure any language failures are not caused by the change to
flex-config.xml?

Well, fine, heard you but I can't buy you a machine :)
Even with the last release we didn't check (and test) everythings but a
kind
of quality would be good, I did run tests which failed and apparently it
wasn't a problem to do a release, I just would like to share that.

HI,
it takes time for sure but I think it's important, am I wrong ?
No your not wrong it's important. It's just currently I have no way of
conveniently running the full tests. If someone want to buy me a testing
machine I'll be more than grateful :-)
I did run the check in tests and this is not going to be the RC we vote
on
as Alex want to wait on other fixes before releasing 4.9.1 so teh full
test
will be run by someone before we vote on a RC.
Thanks,
Justin
