If you using OSX you can use the scripts "addAIRtoSDK.sh",
"setFlashPlayerVersion.sh" and "checkAllPlayerGlobals.sh" in the ide folder of
the develop branch of the SDK to download more recent version of AIR (upto 3.7)
and Flash Player (upto 11.7).
