Okay, I switched to using the FB 4.7 based on the instructions here: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FLEX/Using+FlexJS+with+Adobe+Flash+Builder. It worked fine for me.
After getting the basic example working on both the swf and js side, I am trying to do something like this: <basic:ViewBase xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" xmlns:basic="library://ns.apache.org/flexjs/basic" xmlns:html5="library://ns.apache.org/flexjs/html5"> <html5:TextButton text="Start Timer" x="100" y="75" /> </basic:ViewBase> Nothing shows up on the screen. Whereas this works fine: <basic:ViewBase xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" xmlns:basic="library://ns.apache.org/flexjs/basic" xmlns:html5="library://ns.apache.org/flexjs/html5"> <basic:TextButton text="Start Timer" x="100" y="75" /> </basic:ViewBase> Before I go about debugging, is this even a valid approach? Should I expect to see a html5 based button in the first snippet? Thanks, Om On Wed, May 1, 2013 at 5:22 PM, Alex Harui <aha...@adobe.com> wrote: > I haven't tried Cygwin either.
