So in this moment i am working on this easyprint.de a web to print solution. After the user select a type of product you will have a 100% flex application that was lunched in May.And, i can say that after the release 3 months the company receives 200 orders per day average and always raising. In September i will change to a new client that also is focused in flex, in this moment i can not say the name, but one of the biggest institutions in Europe is working with Flex and still a lot of work to do for the next six years... In Germany, METRO and EXPERT, have also products based in Flex this is not possible to prove because is on their intranet.
Another example (i hope that they don't get mad but at least is some kind of publicity!) http://www.actix.com/ This big company is also focused in Flex... and so on, if you search jobs for flex in uk: http://www.jobsite.co.uk/ for flex developer, you will see that there is some really good vacancies. There is a lot of examples, but of course, the decision makers for the new project are the ones that have to choose what language they prefer on their projects. And this will influence the continuity in flex development after the next 3 years. For my last interview they asked me this:so you think that Flex is a language with Future? My answer was:Of course, that is why i am here. Because, first you also believe on that or this vacancy will not be possible and second i am sure that we don't have a better tool to create Enterprise Applications. the mail is already going to long....But, give good examples to the decision makers, make them believe that Flex is the best option. Is part of marketing also.
