My response was mostly tongue-in-cheek. That being said, it is fairly plain to see that Adobe as an organization has been returning more to it's roots and is becoming more designer-centric again, leaving the developer evangelism primarily to the community. I'm not saying that's a good or a bad thing, just a change.
