Yes, we have successfully had volunteers translate installer strings, but the practical difficulty is in getting them to be aware there is a translation needed, especially when we decide we need one late in the release cycle as folks start doing more testing. I'd like to hear from folks like you outside the US: if compiler error messages were all in English, would that slow down your productivity? -Alex
