Hi Mike, Thanks for the proposal. It's a great idea to restructure the Flink web site. We have been adding more and more content to the site but it lacks structure. Especially new users would benefit from changes which make the web site more discoverable.
>From the pdf, it looks like the main changes are: - Changing the location of the navigation bar and updating its entries - Better landing page - Better intro page - Powered By Flink page - New Ecosystem page - Improved Community information I'm not sure about the layout changes. I actually like having the navigation bar on the top. It seems to be that most sites tend to have them on the left side. So if that helps new users I'm fine with it. For the content changes, it probably makes sense to share them with the community as early as possible and collect feedback. This could also happen on a page-per-page basis. -Max On Thu, Nov 3, 2016 at 3:37 PM, Mike Winters <mwi...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello everyone, > > I'm writing in to share some ideas for updates to the Flink website that I > believe will make it more approachable and easier to navigate, particularly > for users who are new to the project.
