Hi Mike, I really like the idea! Especially that you pointed out we need a substantial rework on the introduction page to let users that are new to modern streaming frameworks understand the space first. With this content as a prelude, once the detailed Flink contents kick in, it will definitely help users to understand Flink more and better catch how some of its unique features set it apart from other systems.
+1, looking forward to any content / previews that you could probably share with the community so that we can start collecting feedbacks :) Best, Gordon On November 3, 2016 at 10:37:38 PM, Mike Winters (mwi...@gmail.com) wrote: Hello everyone, I'm writing in to share some ideas for updates to the Flink website that I believe will make it more approachable and easier to navigate, particularly for users who are new to the project. I am volunteering to take the lead on updating the site if the community thinks it'd be a worthwhile endeavor, and I'd also like to hear any feedback on the wireframes or more general thoughts about the site. Please keep me posted, and let me know if this should go into a FLIP instead. Best, Mike
