Jeff Lord commented on FLUME-2006:
----------------------------------
Thank you for reviving this one Ashish.
This is a little more than a trivial change given the fact that we will want to
maintain backwards compatibility for folks that have developed against the api
which have used batch-size.
1. To that end we would probably want to allow for either property name to be
used and log a warning that batch-size is deprecated and batchSize is the
correct name moving forward.
2. More importantly though we need to address what happens when someone has
both batchSize and batch-size specified in their config? I would propose that
we throw an error on start up which states that batch-size is deprecated please
use batchSize.
Thoughts?
> in Avro the batch size is called batch-size, in all other sources batchSize
