For 1) Agree on this. We can mark it deprecated for a next few releases and
then remove it 2.0 or whenever decided
2) Do you mean to fail the initialization of Agent? IMHO, this would be better,
as this would fix the config file. Alternative is to use the supported property
and log a warning message for the unsupported property.
