Ideally, when a committer adds a patch or fixes an issue, then along with the commit an entry is added to status.xml file rather than following up later with an extra task. This way the committer decides if it is worthy of mention and chooses the text to be added to the entry. We did mainly do this, but sometimes we all slip up and forget. Not every closed issue needs to be mentioned. -David
