I have restarted OOo after the installation. (no quickstarter under Mac OS), had no error message when installing the extension that appears as 'activated' in the extensions manager. I've just been doing File > new > Documents and templates > Templates > my templates which is empty :-( About the extensions storage folder : /Users/my_user_dir/Library/Application Support/OpenOffice.org2/user/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/ seems to be the extensions directory. There I have : 36YQSF 36YQSF_ ---> sun-report-builder.oxt ---> kRoSqa kRoSqa_ ---> OOOP-templates-unified-fr-2.3.1.2.oxt.jar the sun-report-builder extension does work. In case you don't know much about mac os, /Users/my_user_dir/Library/Application Support is the standard dir for user based prefs.
