this link is deprecated and most of the information is outdated. I think the only useful information is the section on debugging with NetBeans. In principal you can deploy Java scripts in user, share and documents. By using uno packages you can deploy Java scripts only in user and share. Nevertheless it's possible to deploy Java scripts in documents. For some more details please have a look at the developers guide, section 18.3.5 Compiling and Deploying Java macros. The whole deployment is quite some manual work. One and a half year ago I worked on a prototype which allows to deploy Java scripts automatically from NetBeans into a document. I left that project more than one year ago and AFAIK nobody continued to work on this project.
