Maybe (on a different thread) we should discuss the scripting framework
for OOo. As it the OOo scripting framework is Java based, it would be
feasible to add a wealth of new scripting languages to OOo, using
JSR-223 (javax.script on Java 6, available for earlier versions of Java
in the form of Apache BSF 3.0, in beta at the moment).
well, it works but there are still some issues in it is somewhat
unmaintained. If you are interested to do more in this area please let
us discuss it. I am interested and would love to see many other
scripting languages to be able to use the OO API directly.
