Right now we have text areas for template and dataModel. can we embed a
kind of on-line code editor instead of text areas. one quick example came to my
mind is http://ace.c9.io/#nav=embedding
We can also write a freemarker syntax highlighter as a plugin for this editor.
Having a layout similar to CodePen or plunker will make it look good.
I also though of some ready made examples ( template + datamodel ) which user
can just click and it will populate the editor. With this we can actually make
the user understand the real powerful features that FreeMarker is having.
Just some random thoughts when I was thinking how to make this on-line tool
better.
