Yes, that would be the ultimate goal. (If you will start working on
something reusable like that, it should be independently of
FM-Online.)

Yes, that's a good idea! Such feature demos could also be linked from
the Manual too. (All examples in the manual should be runnable on
FM-Online with a click, ideally.)
