I was thinking about that for the last ApacheCon EU, and concluded that while there's quite a few interesting things in templating (in my head anyway), FM doesn't yet address to much of them. And even if you still manage to raise the attention of someone, the code base (like the extra pain needed to add new features) isn't exactly tempting because of all of the legacy. This is basically the same issue as with graduation. So, I guess we have to skip it yet again. Let's hope the FM 3 "sprint" will lead to something more interesting.
