It generally seems to, but not in this case immediately after a sync-repos. I'm now of the optinion that the majority of my problems seems to be sync-repos related. Please see my testcase_pci-script I mailed earlier, it causes even a fully patched 1.0.15 to touch things it shouldn't. If it doesn't happen, fsvs seems to be as quick as it used to be in previous versions.
