Hi Henri, Thank you for your response and willingness to help the community. For the latest release, 1.14.4/apache-geode-1.14.4.tgz, there were 21 hits (most likely full downloads) for the current month. We have put out help requests a few times over the past couple of years, but nothing seems to come to fruition with making changes. I feel that once we lost corporate sponsorship and 'support' went back to a private company, that is where most of the users are since it does take quite a bit of knowledge to truly understand the value of the Geode technology.
For CI, we have had talks with Apache Infra, however, they are not able to support the needed infrastructure for a proper CI framework. As for maintaining and ownership of Geode, I think the Apache Software Foundation is a great spot for most open source projects, including Geode. If anyone would want to revive Geode out of the Attic, it would go through the Incubator again to make sure it is self-sustaining again. I fully believe that a community should be more than a couple of members, especially for the level of effort needed, including the many source code repositories, build framework, website, ticketing/security issues, and more. If there truly is an effort to bring Geode from the Attic, if it is decided to go that way, then I would be all for it with the support it needs.
