Hi all, I would like to call for a vote by the GeoExt PSC (ofcourse, others are free to comment on this motion as well) to include GXM [1] in the GeoExt subversion repository at trunk/mobile.
GXM (GeoExt Mobile) is based on Sencha Touch and was developed by Terrestris on a contract to SwissTopo. I would like to take this opportunity to thank both of these organizations for making this possible. OpenGeo was involved in reviewing the GXM components. Trac ticket 430 contains some discussion gathered during the development of GXM, and contains a patch with the current code base: http://trac.geoext.org/ticket/430 We would like to include this code in the GeoExt svn under trunk/mobile (and give Marc Jansen and other developers from Terrestris who worked on GXM svn commit access on this part of the GeoExt svn). As soon as development of an Ext 4 based version of GeoExt will take place, it might make sense to "merge" the GXM codebase with the Ext 4 based desktop version of GeoExt., but at the moment it makes sense for this code to live in a separate place.
