8.2 says this is a required feature and applications do make use of it.
Further, most users are familiar with adding extensions by copying jars into a
directory under the appserver rather than into a JDK shared with other
applications. What is not required is dynamic installation during deployment or
at runtime.

Description:
Geronimo should support an extension directory where packages can be stored and
then referenced by applications using the standard package extenstion
mechanism. Something like this is needed to support J2EE8.2
