I think our ability to include dependencies by including "dependency" elements
in the geronimo-specific dd or plan means we already have fairly sophisticated
support for this feature -- you just have to use the vendor plan to provide
additional information to the manifest listing.

Description:
Geronimo should support an extension directory where packages can be stored and
then referenced by applications using the standard package extenstion
mechanism. Something like this is needed to support J2EE8.2
