Alex Karasulu and I were talking about it and we both think that it
might be a good idea to shoot for making this a TLP. Thoughts?
That is not a decision that needs to be made today. I think we should
focus on creating a sub project (which is a lot of work as it stands)
and reevaluate in a month or two.

I Agree. I think we should keep focused on getting an ORB for Geronimo
out the door so Geronimo can use Corba on JDK 5, then look at moving it
to a top level project.
