The current implementation of persistence for the ejb timers is really awful at least for ejbs. I think that if we want the timer service to be generic we need to provide some kind of factory/serializer service for each kind of thing we want to time rather than trying to be all things to all people. Dain may have some more ideas about this. bug: I thought that replacing += with = ought to fix it.
