No... except right now our specs are a in a state of flux wrt how they built.

Actually I contributed a few patches to the spec in the past and I know that it was fully in sync with JPA specification final draft (not sure about the rest of the specs on that branch). I am going to diff it with the final release of the spec, but in any case those will be just minor changes.

I am building it locally at the moment. So is there any harm in publishing it?

Does not appear to be... the jpa spec bits are still experimental IIUC (only living in the specs/branches/jee5_exp branch).

Does anyone know whether the jpa spec snapshots are being deployed in the snapshot repo?

http://people.apache.org/maven-snapshot-repository/org/apache/ geronimo/specs/ ??

I am looking for this artifact:

<groupId>org.apache.geronimo.specs</groupId>
<artifactId>geronimo-jpa_3.0_spec</artifactId>
<version>1.0-SNAPSHOT</version>

I can't seem to find it.

Thanks
