Doing so will avoid the need for users to see the "Redirecting your request..." messages. We can also use the rules to redirect urls w/ o page names, so like:

http://geronimo.apache.org/issues -> http://issues.apache.org/ jira/browse/GERONIMO http://geronimo.apache.org/wiki -> http://cwiki.apache.org/ geronimo
    ...
